We spend a lot of time thinking we need to know the whole plan before we begin.
We want to know where we’re going, how everything will work, what we’ll need, and whether we’re making the right decision.
But sometimes, you don’t get the whole blueprint at once.
Sometimes you get one step.
And that one step may be enough for today.
I’ve learned that progress doesn’t always look impressive. Sometimes progress is writing down the idea. Making the phone call. Asking for help. Learning something you didn’t know yesterday. Trying again after something didn’t work.
And sometimes progress is simply recognizing that you don’t have to become somebody else to move forward.
Start with what God has already placed in you.
Learn your strengths. Be willing to recognize your weaknesses. Get help where you need it. Use what you have wisely, and give yourself room to grow.
You don’t need every answer before you begin.
You need enough faith to take the step you can see.
You need enough faith to take the step you can see.
Something to think about
What is one step you already know you need to take?
You don’t have to tell everybody what it is. Some things need room to grow before they’re shared.
Write it down for yourself.
Pray about it.
Then take the step.
One step at a time. 💗
